Building Relationships & Replacing Roofs

Oklahoma storms are a special breed. The hail just seems to hit a little harder here, at least it did for Steven and Jessica. After a particularly vicious hail storm, they had water leaking onto a family heirloom dining table inside their home.

According to Steven, his entire cul-de-sac was a little lost after the storm. They all had significant damage but weren’t sure where to turn. He hadn’t called anyone for a roof inspection yet when a trusted neighbor recommended 1907 Roofing, so he got in touch with our team.

Diagnosing the Leak

After discovering significant damage during our roof inspection, we got started on the roof report for the insurance claim right away.

Steven said that he gave his project manager, Zac, his insurance information, and that was it.

According to his Project Manager, Zac, the claim process was as smooth as they come. The insurance company paid for everything that needed to be completed, and Steven was only responsible for his deductive.

Building a Relationship

“Zac preferred to do business in person and made several trips out to our house with paperwork or insurance things,” Steven said. “He easily could have emailed it, but he preferred to meet in person so he could answer every question. There was never any confusion or secrecy about what was happening [with the roof]. I'm old school and would rather do it like that.”

However, Steven’s job required travel, so in-person meetings weren’t always possible. However, we had a strong relationship with Steven and Jessica and were able to keep the project moving along by taking care of some business over the phone.

Installing the New Roof

Industry-wide material shortages were common during Steven’s roofing project, so he was a little concerned about whether we’d be able to get what we needed for his roof. We surprised him by getting the materials with very little delay.

Steven’s roof was steeper and larger than the average roof, but our team was still able to get the entire replacement done in one day. “It was quite an accomplishment,” Project Manager Zac said.

Of working with our team, Steven said, “They met expectations for sure. They took care of us and kept us in the loop with everything. When they said they were going to be there, they were there.”

Now, Steven and Jessica have a sturdy new roof, and luckily, they were also able to get their heirloom dining table repaired.

Before the next storm hits (because this is Oklahoma and we’re sure to get another one sometime), save our number in your phone so you know exactly who to call if you need it.
